Yeme Regen were appointed to develop the scheme for Tender and Construction in coordination with M&E and Structural Engineers. During this process a number of amendments were required to the design as a result of the design development. These amendments included an increase in building height to accommodate the structural steel frame, M&E services and a parapet at roof level for the health and safety of people maintaining the introduced solar panels. There were also a number of variations to the plan to rationalise the steel frame, as well as ensure that the building can be fully compliant with the Building Regulations with the relocation of the bicycle store, plant room and the introduction of a dry riser.
